Cottage Description
One and a half miles from Bodfari, and set in thirty acres of marvellous grounds, this attractive, brick built semi-detached barn conversion is to be found on an award winning farm at the foot of the Clwydian Hill Range. It also allows access to a heated swimming pool (1st July to the 30th of September), plus private fishing on the River Clwyd (end of March to the end September - licence required), that runs through the farm. There is a super garden for outdoor eating, plus a wood burner in the sitting room. There are two bedrooms, one being a twin and the second a super king sized double with French door access to a sitting area. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC and basin. Open plan living space, having living area with wood burner, dining and a kitchen. A property located on the other side of the fish pond can be booked at the same time for a total sleeping space of six people. Amenities/Accommodation Overview Inclusive of power, fuel, bed linen, towels and wood burner starter pack. Full LPG central heating, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, microwave, gas hob and oven. Stairgate, high chair and cot availability, two car off road parking, outdoor furniture and barbecue for use in private lawned garden overlooking the duckpond. Two well behaved dogs allowed (£10.00 charge per dog per week), regret no smoking. One and half miles to pub and shop. Children must be supervised by lake and pond, while the less mobile may have difficulties with the spiral staircase. A hoover clean and chemical top up mean that the pool closes at 6.30pm Local Town Description Bodfari is choc full of history, with a Celtic camp dating back to about 500 BC. With Roman and Norman evidence, including the Church of St. Stephen, it nowadays boasts a access to excellent pubs and eateries plus a local shop. Nearby Denbigh has a well known thirteenth century castle has attractive streets with restaurants,pubs and shops, and Offa's Dyke Pathway allows walkers of all abilities access to a number of footpaths and trails. Great bird watching as well as fishing and cycling.
