The Stable Family Cottage

One of two attractive semi-detached cottages of seventeenth century origins, set in a twenty five acre small holding on the outskirts of the lovely town of Llangollen. The accommodation sleeps up to four people, ideal for a small family party or two couples. Shared gardens with views of the castle ruins.

The grounds offer woodland walks and paddock areas, and you will be delighted by the chance of spotting the local wildlife. The number of local attractions and places of interest will fill your day tripping diary though, including Chirk Castle, Erddig, the Offa's Dyke Path, and the Clwyd hills.

Spacious open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area & sitting area. Three bedrooms: 1 x kingsize double with ensuite (shower, basin & WC), 1 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin & WC.

Towels, bed linen, power and fuel included, full LPG central heating, dishwasher, washing machine, freezer, fridge, microwave and electric cooker.

DVD, TV with basic Sky, stereo/CD player, stairgate, cot and high chair availability, three car off road parking, pond in shared and enclosed split level lawned garden (please supervise children at all times around the pond.)Take in views of the castle ruins from the gravelled sitting area with outdoor furniture. Regret no pets and no smoking, ten minutes walk to pub, shop one and a half miles, refundable Good Housekeeping Bond required.

Local Town Description

The Vale of Llangollen is one of the highlights of this part of beautiful North Wales, featuring the wild and rugged River Dee. Llangollen, of course has a world renowned Musical Festival known as the "Eisteddfod" but also offers a chance to explore the area by canal barge and steam train. Castell Dinas Bran, just above the town makes for a great walk. A full array of quality amenities including excellent shops, restaurants and pubs.

The National Trust has great representation at Erddig and also Chirk Castle, and a wonderful day trip in the car will include "the Seven Wonders of Wales". Top class walking and rambling along the Offa's Dyke Path along the top of the Clwyd hills.
