Hotel Description
The Lochside House Hotel was built during the late 19th century by the Marquis of Bute and used as a shooting lodge. Set with in twenty acres of land and overlooking 2 Lochs to each side the hotel boasts magnificent views of the neighboring countryside and local nine hole golf course. Lochside House Hotel is perfectly located for people wishing to tour Ayrshire and the outlying districts. The hotel was taken over in 1999 by Robert and Vivien Kyle and was extensively extended and redecorated to achieve a 4 star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board.
