The Old George is a 16th century inn situated in the pretty and charming and historic coaching town of Stony Stratford. We have recently been taken over by new owner's and have maintained our reputation as a friendly family managed business. Our new menu consists of locally sourced produce and we have a range of daily specials and roast dinners all day Sundays. We have various live music events taking place through the week and at weekends (please call us if you would like further information about these). We have a selection of real ales and a guest ale in our stunning beamed bar as well as a range of lagers bottled ciders alco pops and soft drinks. The Old George is located in the heart of Stony Stratford which is known as the jewel of Milton Keynes and whilst Milton Keynes is 1 of the fastest growing new cities in Britain Stony Stratford has retained its character as a vibrant market town. It has a long and fascinating history and original and often quirky architecture. Conveniently Milton Keynes train station and the M1 are only a ten minute drivetaxi ride away from the town. The Old George is a cozy friendly and convenient base from which to explore this unique area and whether you love to shop eat drink unwind or explore our history we can help you do it all!.

The Old George is situated in the heart of Stony Stratford in Milton KeynesParking is available at the rear of the hotel. To reach it Turn off of Silver Street into the Market Square where you can normally park for up to two hours during the day or as long as you wish after 6PM.Drive through the Market Square by the Health Centre to access the Old George Inn carpark. There will be a signpost to help. This carpark is for patrons only. |
