As the focal point of the small seaside port town of Aberaeron on the stunning Cardigan Bay Coast the hotel was originally an 18th Century Coaching Inn offering food and shelter to travellers and locals. The picturesque town of Aberaeron is renowned for its Georgian elegance with brightly painted town houses and an beautiful seaside quay.

It has a strong maritime tradition and today is still a centre for rural communities in Ceredigion. The Hotel has now been painstakingly restored to its former glory. Whilst retaining the architectural and decorative features of the original Innthe Feathers now meets the exacting standards of comfort hospitality and cuisine expected by the contemporary traveller. It is the wish of Richard and Lee Collier and their staff at the Feathers Royal to make your stay a memorable experience.

We run an independent hotel and so believe in the welcoming approach with the personal touch. Our aim is to offer you the warmth of Cardigan Bay hospitality. Imaginative menus produced by our team of chefs feature mouth watering dishes created using the best local produce West Wales has to offer.

Wales is experiencing a renaissance in the quality of its food and drink suppliers and our menus strive to showcase these good ingredients from succulent seafood and fish to the best beef lamb and game Wales has to offer. We take our wine list seriously and have an interesting selection to compliment our food.
