Twelve as its name suggests is in Quality Street in the heart of North Berwick only a stones throw from the harbour and local beaches. No. Twelve Quality Street was purchased by Stirling and Jela Stewart in October 2005 and was previously called the Harbour House Hotel. The hotel is now fully licensed and in March 2006 the ground floor was renovated with simply spectacular results and now includes No. twelve Cafà Bar. At No. Twelve Stay Over we offer a unique homely experience. There is no reception desk to check in at only the delightful smell of coffee from the bar area. More than a Bed and Breakfast but without the formality of a hotel No. Twelve is all about relaxation and informality with brilliant service. Bedrooms remain open as normal throughout the winter however the cafe is closed during the day on Mondays and Tuesdays (and is largely unmanned after breakfast) and every night for dinner apart from Fridays and Saturdays. We are happy to arrange dinner and transport for you to our sister hotel in North Berwick The Nether Abbey Hotel. Hotel will appeal to guests looking for Family Run, Golf Breaks, Restaurant with Rooms, Family Breaks, Weekend Breaks.

Travelling south-east after leaving Edinburgh on the A1 or southern by-pass which becomes the A1 take turn off left A198 Bankton Junction signposted North Berwick through Longniddry Aberlady Gullane by-passing Dirleton Entering North Berwick follow one way system. At crossroads with Victoria road turn right into Quality Street. The hotel is situated on the left. Travelling north on A1 about 1 mile past Dunbar roundabout take turn off right A198 signposted North Berwick through villages Tyninghame Whitekirk. |
