Littledean House Hotel is a large family - run country guest house in the heart of the Forest of Dean. A Hotel for over a hundred years the building hosts a quirky charm ideal for those looking for something less mainstream. With a large garden at the rear and gorgeous views of May Hill its an perfect base for those visiting the area for leisure or business. There are plenty of outdoor activities right on the doorstep ideal for walking cycling golf canoeing angling and horse riding. The Hotel has thirteen bedrooms - all ensuite with showers as well as single double and family rooms. All rates include a hearty home-cooked breakfast - Full English or Continental. There is a public bar open to residents offering a cosy log fire in winter months local real ale and a selection of wines. We have a large beer garden perfect for a summer afternoon drink ideal for families. Dogs may be allowed on request please call the Hotel before booking. Evening meals are available Monday - Saturday in the restaurant bar or garden. On Sundays a traditional roast using locally sourced meats is served twelve - 3pm. Please note we currently dont open for food on Sunday evenings. We are located close to the A48 and less than an hour away from Gloucester Cheltenham Chepstow and Bristol. Please note there are no rooms on the ground floor we do not have a lift but some rooms can be allocated nearer to the top of the staircase. Free Wi-Fi is available in the Hotel but we cant guarantee a connection in all bedrooms. Also mobile reception is limited with in the building due to the rural area and thick walls.
