These works include new reception bar ladies gents and disabled toilets plus changes to the sea facing lounge. We anticipate re-opening for the 2011 season at the end of March. The Caerwylan Hotel is a privately owned three star hotel located in a marvellous position on the East shore of Criccieths Esplanade. A landmark Victorian building having undergone an extensive refurbishment programme in 200809 to create 24 comfy modern en-suite bedrooms. The Caerwylan faces South and commands spectacular views over the main beach and Cardigan Bay. Dinner is available to residents and non residents in our restaurant from six pm with last orders at nine pm. Our experienced Chef using local ingredients as much as possible freshly prepares all dishes. The menu changes every day. Facilities at the Hotel include- Lift to all floors (from the lift to the bedrooms generally six stairs); - South facing garden on the west side of the hotel with deckchairs and sun loungers; - A spacious lounge with wonderful views;- Cosy south facing bar with a wide selection of beers lagers wines and spirits; - Private garages @ one. 50 per night. - Guest PC and WIFI on the ground floor (both free); The Caerwylan is a excellent base to discover Snowdonia the stunning beaches of the Lleyn Peninsula and the many renowned steam railways and castles of North Wales.
