The Ord Arms is a self classified eight bedroomed two family managed hotel offering a welcoming relaxed atmosphere to all our guests as well as facilities such as a wifi flat screen televisions showing Sky channels. All rooms are non smoking. The restaurant opens from five. 00 - eight. 30pm and midday - two. 00pm for light lunches although seasonal variations may apply. A extremely reasonably priced restaurant menu is available and high teas also served daily from five. 00-6. 30pm. Please note that the hotel has a strict policy whereby food is not allowed to be taken up to rooms and any food purchased outwith the hotel should be consumed off the premises. Extremely generous car parking available and coach parties are welcome for meal stop offs by prior arrangement. located in the centre of the village there are many door step attractions as well as Glen Ord Distillery and Muir of Ord Golf Club which are approximately a five minute car drive or ten minute walk from the hotel. The city of Inverness is fifteen minutes by car and trains and buses also run regularly from the village with the station and bus stop located with in walking distance from the hotel. Visitor attractions with in a twenty minute drive from the hotel are the beaches of Fortrose and Rosemarkie where dolphin watching is a major attraction. Approximately 40 minutes to one hour drive of the hotel are Ben Wyvis 1 of the Munro mountains which is large enough to offer an brilliant day out and Rogie Falls with its water fall and suspension bridge. Also Glen Affric famous for the glory of its woodlands and classical blend of natural forest shimmering loch and rugged hills provides amazing views and walks.

Follow the A9 North passing over the Kessock Bridge follow the dual carriage until Tore roundabout. Take the 1st exit onto the A832 signposted Muir of Ord. On reaching the crossroads follow on over traffic controlled bridge drive carry on 200 yards and the hotel is on the right hand side. |
