The Chequers Country Inne was originally a farm house in George IIIs reign and has genuine oak beams and slate and granite floors. It is a stunning traditional pub restaurant and hotel set in the heart of the South Leicestershire countryside. We serve real ales traditional home cooked locally sourced food and have a marvellous terrace for those lazy sunny afternoons.

We are located in the centre of Ullesthorpe village right away from any loud road noise and have ample parking for up to 90 cars. We are ideally located for commuters being only minutes from the M1 M6 and M69 Motorways whilst still being in the centre of the South Leicestershire Countryside. We have eleven boutique style en-suite letting bedrooms all with television tea and coffee making facilities desk space and trouser press not to mention having only undergone a full refurbishment following a boutique style.
