Set up in 1994 and our sister building the Annexe 2011 the city centres hostel is run by obliging and experienced backpackers and over the years we have welcomed close to 60000 people from all over the world. The Annexe is a 160 year-old heritage-listed boutique hostel situated less than seven minutes walk from lively Nottingham city centre. It provides comfy accommodation with memory foam mattresses and free Wi-Fi. Each private room has a flat-screen TV work desk and seating area. A shared kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering high standard bathrooms are shared and adjacent to rooms and there is a laundry service available on request. The Igloo and Annexe are environmentally aware hostels using eco-friendly and recycled products where possible. We are proud to be 3-star accredited by take pleasure in England. The Igloo Backpackers Hostel located across the road has facilities as well as a games room film lounge and free luggage storage. All facilities are available for the use of guests at the Annexe. Historic Nottingham Castle is only a 15-minute walk through the town and a 10-minute walk from the popular Galleries of Justice. Victoria Bus Station is a 2-minutue walk offering services to Sherwood Forest. There is on-street parking for those of you travelling by car - free from 18am - 8am. Walk - The Igloo is centrally located within 10-12 minutes walking distance from the T.I.C at Market Square. Head in the direction of Clumber Street and walk straight past the Victoria Shopping Centre up Mansfield Rd to the Golden Fleece pub on your left. We are diagonally opposite.Please note entry is on the side of the building 110 Mansfield Road (a red front door through a red gate on the corner of Mansfield Road and Fulforth Street).Walking from the stations will take 18-20 minutes at most. |
