Hotel Description
The Duke of Cumberlands Head is a stunning thatched village inn that dates from the seventeenth century. It has 5 bedrooms which have been decorated to a high standard. The price of the rooms includes an extensive breakfast as well as boiled eggs cereals fresh fruit pastries tea and coffee. The cooked breakfast menu is available from 7am. Our brilliant chefs have created a delicious menu which is their interpretation of traditional pub food. The menu constantly evolves and is complemented by our specials board which reflects whatever the kitchen has sourced that day from game and fish to locally-sourced vegetables and meat. Beyond the end of the garden there are stunning walks through the North Oxfordshire countryside and the pub is a ideal place to stay for a weekend being ideally located for Bicester village Oxford Chipping Norton and The Cotswolds. The pub is just 5 miles from junction ten of the M40 but a million miles away from the misery of a travel lodge.
