The Horse and Groom Inn is a delightful family-run 17th Century Coaching Inn which has only undergone a major refurbishment programme (August 2011). At the front of the building is a delightful enclosed patio area surrounded by planters filled with a collection of herb plants. The traditional bar has a stone floor seating for around 25 customers and a wood-burning stove at either end. Theres a small snug with a darts throw and comfortable leather sofa. At the rear of the building is a dining room which can seat upto 50 people. This area has been completely re-designed as a modern eating area. There are four en-suite letting rooms (2 x doubles one x twin and one x single) - each has a TV iPod docking station tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge with fresh milk and complimentary mineral water. The pub is only five miles from Banbury (J11 M40) and is located 0. Five miles from the main Banbury to Chipping Norton road (A361). The pub is located at the far end of the village of Milcombe overlooking the green. The village of Milcombe is on the east side of the Cotswolds area with lots of attractions close by. WELL-BEHAVED DOGS ARE extremely WELCOME IN THE BAR BUT WE DONT ALLOW THEM IN THE BEDROOMS WITH GUESTS.
