There are 2 spacious lounges with wood - burners and a stunning balcony where guests can unwind and take pleasure in the stunning Welsh countryside in this haven for birds and all kinds of wildlife as well as the stunning red kite. Only a short stroll along the lane takes you to the 3 Wells Country Farm where you can take pleasure in the lake there is a footpath which leads you through stunning countryside to the village of Howey.

Acorn Court is an perfect position for walking and exploring. Llandrindod Wells provides indoor and outdoor bowing. There are two Golf courses close by. Lots of parking space. There are many nice places to eat. Only half a mile away in Howey there is the Laughing Dog Inn and The Drovers Thai Restaurant. In Llandrindod Wells there quite a few incl.

Jules Restaurant and Wine Bar Spencers Brasserie and In Llanyre only three miles away there is the Bell Country Inn which serves brilliant food. We are only five miles from the Royal Welsh showground at Builth Wells where they hold many events throughout the year. Only ten miles away there is the stunning Elan Valley and the delightful market town of Rhayader.

It is also home to Gigrin Farm and the fabulous Red Kite Feeding Centre. Or maybe you would like to step back in time and visit the Judges Lodging at Presteigne. We are lucky to have The Hall at Abbey-Cwm-hir- a truly unique property- especially fine to visit around Christmas time. Every June Newtown hosts the Gregynog Music Festival of classical concerts.

If you come and stay at the beginning of August perhaps you would like to visit Brecon Jazz festival which is under an hours drive from us Or step back in time in Llandrindod Wells when the annual Victorian Festival comes to town during the last week of August. If you take pleasure in walking you will be spoilt for choice with the renowned Offas Dyke Glyndwrs Way or the peaceful Wye Valley Walk all of these routes and many more are close by.

There are also brilliant trails for mountain biking and a excellent selection of bridle paths throughout mid Wales. Perhaps you would like to have a go at mountainboarding or abseiling in the Brecon Beacons well its all here and more!!
