Rebuilt in 2008 The Lowfield Inn is a stunning country pub and inn set in the heart of the Shropshire Powys countryside in the small village of Marton. We pride ourselves on using locally sourced produce whenever possible and always have quite a few of the best local ales on tap as well as the best wines from all over the world. Our food is best described as contemporary British in style (although dont be surprised to see influences from other regions!) and we serve all day every day. We aim to give you the best and friendliest service possible the highest quality food and drink but in a comfy affordable and relaxed surroundings. We also have four en-suite bedrooms with stunning views where you can unwind after a hard days walking angling working or shopping in close by Shrewsbury! From Shrewsbury take the B4386 from the southwest of the outer ring road signposted to Montgomery. Keep going 13 miles and we are on the right hand side.From Montgomery Take the B4386 from Montgomery towards Chirbury. At Chirbury turn right then follow the signs to Shrewsbury and we are on the left.From Welshpool Follow the A490 towards Churchstoke then take the B4386 signposted to Marton. Drive through Marton village and we are on your left. |
