Hotel Description
With parts of the building dating from the time of Mary Queen of Scots we offer spacious en-suite bedrooms a cosy lounge with wood-burning stove and a sun-trap beer garden to the rear of the building. We welcome families and have 2 cots as well as a childrens menu. Children under five stay free. All our rooms were completely renovated in 2006 and we now have digital TV and WiFi throughout. Golf is available on 23 local courses as part of the Freedom of the Fairways scheme and there is also brilliant walking cycling angling horse-riding and other country pursuits in the amazing scenery of the Borders. The hotel is completely non-smoking. Hotel will appeal to guests looking for Family Run, Golf Breaks, Walking Breaks, Family Breaks, Weekend Breaks.

The Spread Eagle Hotel is a cream-coloured building in the middle of the High Street in Jedburgh. The town is bypassed by the A68 which runs from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in the south to the Edinburgh city bypass in the north. Turn off the A68 onto Exchange Street (the second junction leading into the town centre from either direction). Turn right at the junction with High Street and you will find the hotel about 25 yards down the road on your left. |
