The original grade two listed building was constructed as a Hunting Lodge in 1890 for the Earl Fitzwilliam and resides in a conservation area of exceptional natural beauty. The Barnsdale Spa which opened in June 2003offers the ultimate spa experience in hair and beauty treatments. The Osprey Restaurant has recieved an AA Rosette for its good dining. The Brasserie is also availiable for a less formal dining experience. All bedrooms which are located in 3 separate buildings have been tastefully and sympathetically redecorated over the last few years.
