The Lighthouse would like to welcome everyone whether you are interested in a holiday or a simple bed and breakfast come and experience this stunning country retreat in Somerset. Located only outside Frome in the Mendip Hills the Lighthouse is also uniquely placed for a variety of events as well as meetings retreats celebrations training events and team building. Set in 30 Acres of Historic Parkland it is a peaceful and stunning space yet just two hours from London one hour from Bristol and 30 minutes from Bath this Grade II listed country house provides an awesome position for a truly unique experience.

In 2011 we redecorated our Coach House to provide an exceptional event room facility for up to 35 people. There are stunning walks round the woodland grounds and lake plus we offer angling for fishermen with their own equipment. During the summer months there is a 12m heated swimming pool for guests to take pleasure in. Love in a Cup is a Tea House with a difference at the Lighthouse! The menu we offer is 100% gluten and dairy free and all of our meals are homemade and lovingly prepared in our kitchen.

Our focus is on health and well being and we are committed to offering delicious tasting food using just natural ingredients like olive oil honey and syrups rather than refined sugars and hydrogenated fats in our food. Our meat and vegetables are of a fine quality and our eggs are free range. Produce is locally sourced where possible.

The Love in a Cup Tea House also offers a delicious breakfast which is included as part of your BandB accommodation package. This is served between 7amam and 9amam week days and 8amam to nine. 30am on weekends. The Lighthouse provides free parking and free wi-fi access in Love in a Cup Tea House Stables Accommodation and the Main Building.

Pets are welcome but just in our grounds we do not accept pets in our bedrooms.
