Both the public areas of the hotel and the bedrooms are non-smoking. Weather permitting guests are welcome to smoke in the hotel garden and take pleasure in the amazing view at the same time. If it is raining then there is a nothing more to be done than stand outside with an umbrella!The Ben Loyal has 11 centrally heated bedrooms 2 singles 5 doubles 3 twins and 1 family room which has a double bed and a single bed. Each is tastefully decorated and has its own en suite facility with either a bath with shower over or self contained shower unit. All the rooms have a colour television direct dial telephone hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Many of the rooms take pleasure in exceptional views out over the Kyle of Tongue Ben Loyal Ben Hope and the ruin of Castle Varrich which sits on the hill line opposite the hotel.

From Inverness follow the A9 North until you get to Evanton then head towards Bonar Bridge then Lairg and follow the signs to Tongue. We can be found if you take the left at the junction in the centre of the village.From Thurso just follow the sign for Tongue then take the left at the junction in the centre of the village.From Durness when you arrive in the centre of the village turn right at the junction and youll find us just beyond the Royal Bank of Scotland |
