Eden Project Biodome

A fantastic visitor attraction designed to remind us of our dependence on the natural world. The series of Biomes or Giant greenhouses are built in a disused china clay quarry and take you on a journey through the eco systems, plant life and natural habitats around the world. Regular events also take place at Eden including music and art, family events and horticultural courses.

Newquay Zoo is home to over 130 animal species including lions, monkeys, meerkats, lemurs and zebras. The keepers give regular talks throughout the day and feeding times are a popular event for the whole family.

Cornwall's Crealy is a 100 acre fun family theme park with exciting white knuckle rides and activities both indoors and outdoors so entertainment is guaranteed whatever the weather.

5. Springfields Fun Park and Pony Centre - St Columb, Cornwall, TR9 6HU - Tel No: 01637 881224

Spingfields is a fun packed day out for all the family whatever the weather. The pony centre has over 30 ponies from different parts of the UK which can be groomed and ridden. There are also a variety of farm animals which can be fed and petted and lovely woodland walk with picnic area. The indoor all weather fun barn has a host of activities for the kids to burn off their energy and outside lots of activities for all the family including a boating lake, trampolines, go karts and ariel glides.
