1. York Minster - 10-14 Ogleforth, York, North Yorkshire, YO1 7HH

This Gothic cathedral located in York is one of the largest in Northern Europe. It took over two hundred and fifty years to complete and is considered to be both an architectural and artistic masterpiece.

2. The Yorkshire Dales National Park Centre - Reeth, Richmond, North Yorkshire, DL11 6SZ

The Yorkshire Dales in the northwest part of Yorkshire are part of a beautiful National Park that includes Wharfedale, Wensleydale, Upper Ribblesdale, and Swaledale.

3. Bolton Castle - Near Leyburn, North Yorkshire, DL8 4ET

Bolton Castle, an amazing example of a medieval fortress, is located in the centre of Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This castle was completed in 1339 and has seen over six hundred years of British history.

4. Richmond Castle - Richmond, North Yorkshire, DL10 4QW

Located next to the River Swale in North Yorkshire, Richmond Castle is an ideal destination for a leisurely day trip.
