History
Archaeologists have unearthed evidence of human habitation in the hills about Farnham which dates to the early Stone Age, according to some estimates. Transportation
You can arrive straightaway in Farnham by utilising the A31 trunk road which originates in Guildford to the west of Farnham town centre. As an alternate route, you can reach Farnham via the M3 Motorway which lies to the north of town centre. Keep watch for the A325 interchange as you leave the city, however. Then, continue south by way of Farnborough in order to reach Farnham proper.
But a large number of travellers from greater London prefer to ride the rail to Farnham Rail Station through London Waterloo Station in the heart of the capital. And coach services and other routes from Heathrow Airport extend well into Surrey, as well.
